Thanks "so" much for the headache, Amanda.  :)
I actually refuse to "shop" in stores that do this in their 
advertising, because I think it's such a horrible thing to do.
It's as if they're saying - "We almost mean that our merchandise is 
quality, but it isn't really..."
I mean, if they're trying for regular punctuation marks for signage 
purposes, use an * or at least try < and > in whatever order, if it's 
SO much more expensive to use bolding or underlining or something. 
Argh.
Amanda, you are absolutely right. I need food too!
