PS (as in Pre Script):
People who are apologizingly for unlisty posts often say 'my bad.' How 
did that start? Does it mean anything other than the obvious?

Best wishes for your computer's quick recovery!! Maybe you can borrow 
someone else's Web-connected computer and go to egroups via the Web
