And from another - The generic name is "yeast extract". Marmite and
Vegemite are two brands. It's a dark brown spread with quite a
strong "acquired" taste. A tiny bit goes a long way! It's just loaded
with vitamins, particularly B vitamins.

Ewwww ... now you have ruined my morning. Vegemite is vile looking stuff! My
Aussie friend swears by it, though. She even packs it when she goes on long
trips.
I guess that's what makes the world go round.
