Marmite is an acquired taste, imo. The first time I ate it, I spread
it a little too thickly on my toast and found it very, very
overpowering. It has a salty, bracing taste. After that I used it a
bit more sparingly. I don't know how effective it is against fleas,
but after a week of eating it, my face was smoother (I have somewhat
dry facial skin).
