Awfully Big Adventure (was Pepsi vs. Coke, Deposits)

This is a pretty bizarre jump even for Chatter, but Ebony's Peter Pan
reference made me tangent off.
Has anyone else out there actually seen "An Awfully Big Adventure"?
Aside from it having the scene in it which convinced me that Alan
Rickman is perfect for Snape, it also has Hugh Grant actually acting.
It's billed as a comedy, and is anything but. Just wondered.
What made me think of it, is that the story is about a young girl in
post-WWII UK (can't remember where, not England) who joins a theater
company. Alan Rickman plays the actor who plays Captain Hook, and
although we don't see much of him in his role, he has totally ruined any
other Hook for me.
I think the film suffered at the hands of the editors....because I had
wondered about the title, too, after seeing several comments about how
light-hearted the title seemed given the content, and it turns out that
in a Hook speech in the text of the play, death is "an awfully big
adventure." [Which also makes me think JKR must have read Peter Pan,
given what Dumbledore tells Harry about Nicolas and Perennelle's view of
death.] However, Alan/Hook never says it in the film, so the title
(which in retrospect is perfect) makes no sense.
Anyway, just wondered who'd seen it.
