Penny:"Parker, my sister & I played the Quidditch board game on
Christmas Day --- twice. It is *very* confusing (I frankly don't see
how 9-12 yr olds play it at all). <g> There's a message from me in
the Archives right after Christmas that might have had some tips in
it. I do recall listing out things that should be changed and/or
clarified in the rules. You might search the Archives & look at that.
 I haven't tried to play it since then. Of course, Bryce isn't too
interested in playing with me. I don't think it would be the thing to
take to the labor & delivery room with that red quaffle getting shot
everywhere & all those teensy little pieces..."

It's not the only problem. the "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's
Stone-- the Game" is a hodgepodge of six lame games combined into one.
You have no sense of being in the Hogwarts world at all. Some of the
people are in one room while you're in another, and there's no sense
of playing together most of the time.

BTW, John Walton, Sinead, and I were in the FAO Schwarz on Fifth Ave.
yesterday and found the following items:

"Quidditch Team" picture frames with spaces for three pictures;

Baseball caps with only Gryffindor and Slytherin houses, plus more
generic HP art;

Scabbers and Mrs. Norris plush toys;

and "Troll Booger Potion"

"One contraction & those pieces would go everywhere. :--)"

   "I feel another contraction coming!!"
   "Can you finish your turn first?"
