A friend of mine has english TV and is Rickman Fan (ergo has most movies) - and I'd die for that voice, so I avoid the dubbed over version like the plague. I was just browsing a fan page with movie reviews to make a list for her (poor woman, it's quite long <g>), and under "Dark Harbor" I found this poem. *sigh* Well written love poems always make me cry. Oh well, who wrote it? Did AR write it? Here it comes:
You know,
I look at you
and it's funny, you don't remind me of myself exactly
but you remind me of a certain time,
I remember what I used to think love was then;
that it was like fireworks, the explosions, the highlights,
but it is not.
It's time:
to go through the seasons together
through change
through the ups and downs,
to be able to look at your beloved
and say,
"We did that together as one,
we chose each other above all things".
That's love.
It's unexplainable.
It's a secret
that can only be known
once you've done
the time.
And can you comment a discussion group? I want fellow droolers <g> - oh well, not droolers, but appreciators.
Thanks for your help,

People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
