This is weird - I've done that! Two summers ago we had
a new GLBT paper in town and when they started up they
were chock full of errors (mostly due to the fact that
the owners/editors were francophone and so were most
of the freelance writers). Anyway, I knew the owners
from my involvement with the Pride Festival so one day
I just marched myself into Rob's office with the
latest issue (complete with red marks throughout!) and
told him he needed me. He hired me on the spot and I
worked there part-time until the magazine folded. I
still can't read anything without noticing spelling
mistakes!
