Okay, I posted a very nice story about this but it didn't show up, so 
I'll now keep it brief.  One of my students had been regularly 
emailing me about her summer.  I love it.  As a teacher, I feel really 
good when students care enough to keep in touch with me. 

He may not remember you, but he'll feel good that you remember him.
