You reminded me of another one, Kristin. Andy and I
went to see Dead Man Walking when it first came out.
With only about 30 minutes of the film left.... the
fire alarm went off in the mall. It turned out to be a
false alarm, but they had stopped the movie while we
waited to see if they wanted us to leave the building
and there wasn't enough time left before the next
showing to let us watch the end. We had two choices,
stay and watch it again, or passes for a movie some
other time. We took the passes. I was surprised at how
many people stayed for the next showing. I couldn't
have done that, it wouldn't have been the same, having
just seen most of it (I probably would've gotten bored
waiting for the ending!).
