Howdy Sue--great to see you around!

As I recall, you're boy is, what ... threeish? I wouldn't take my daughter
Natascha (4) to watch a Disney flick in a cinema, because I think it would
be too intense for her. (She's a lot more sensitive than my son, 2 1/2.) On
video/TV at my in-laws (I don't have a TV), I don't see a problem. A few
months back I watched Mulan with my wife on video, and Natascha watched on
and off, asked a few questions, but wandered off about half way through. I'd
like for her to see a fair amount of Disney, though--I think it helps
develop a healthy appetite for the world of literature behind the mouse
ears.

OTOH, *over-feeding* kids on any particular kind of entertainment is sad, if
it reduces their concept of fun to one particular medium. If a preschool
just turns on the video and leaves the kids to rot, you obviously have a
problem.

Also, some Christian parents object to Disney for the same reason they
object to HP.

Baaaaaa!
