Here are a few web sites with support groups
For the US: http://www.ai.mit.edu/extra/scoliosis/support.html
For the UK: http://www.scoliosis-world.com/cat21.htm
Non-specified: http://www.scoliosis-assoc.org/
Yahoo-Groups has 18 scoliosis related groups
http://groups.yahoo.com/search?query=scoliosis
I hope the above information will help you through this time. Also, I
strongly encourage you to talk to your physician about your feelings
and concerns as he/she should be able to refer you to a local group.
Doctors usually seem rushed (here in the US) but if you tell your
doctors about your feelings, I'm pretty sure he'll lend a sympathetic
ear.
Milz.
