Kids and LOTR (was Wow. Just....wow)

You know...we discussed this last night afterwards....

I've decided if I had a younger child, I don't think I'd 
take them.  There were some scenes that scared ME and I 
KNEW what was about to happen.  Some scenes are really 
intense.  The orcs are VERY alarming and the Balrog is BOOO-
scary.  (Gollum was adorable, though.)

But then again, it depends on the child, I guess.  If 
monsters don't scare them easily, take them.  If they are 
spooked by "things that go bump in the night", then, no, 
perhaps they shouldn't see this movie.
