I'm just sitting here chuckling. I'm probably the most
confused person on the face of the earth regarding
metric/Imperial. Canada is now metric, has been since
the 70s, I believe. Well, I grew up using Imperial,
lived in Europe for 5 years (went metric), came back
to Canada (Imperial) and then Canada went metric
(though we still refer to a car's 'mileage', go
figure).
I still use Imperial to cook, measure my height in
feet and inches (I'm 5'9") but as for distance... well
I just know how long it takes to get there. No idea
how far my grandmother's house is, but it takes 9 1/2
hours to drive there!
Just my two cents,
Sheryll
