Biscuits... close to the truth?

Yes. All of the above. depends on the chef. Mine are usually chewy 
and flaky. If they are crchy or crumbling, you've left them in the 
oven too long. I make my biscuits scratch, but I'm takeing bisquick 
to neil, so he can make a batch and tell us what to call them. 
Bisquick is mostly fail-safe.
