I work as a historic interpreter at Middleton Place in Charleston, 
SC.  I interpret (and teach!) enslaved Africans' and African-
Americans' contribution to weaving and spinning on plantations in the 
Lowcountry.  

It's fun, but in 90+ degree heat with 90+ humidity, it does get 
tiring.  (I *do* have a ceiling fan--finally!)

Any time you're going to be in Charleston, let me know--I can get you 
in free (it's $15 for adults for grounds and Stableyards alone!)
