Just had to jump in and disagree <g>. Empire was better than Star
Wars, but as much as I love the series, Jedi had a tremendous number
of flaws. Part of this was due to a less than stellar script (don't
know what to do with Han Solo and Princess Leia? They can hang with
the fuzzy little Ewoks for 3/4's the movie), but a lot of it was the
fault of the director, who never quite "got" it (I'd say "IMO", but
I'm not the only one who thinks Jedi was not a good movie - it's been
analyzed by many critics, and have you seen the "50 Reasons Jedi
Sucks" list that floats around the Net?). No, if the first HP movie
is as good as the trailer makes it seem to be (and I really do think
Columbus "gets" it), then I'd much prefer CC sticking it out through
the rest of the movies (if that ever actually happens).
My 2 cents!
Best,
B
