  Misspelling Gryffindor is another big one - how the hell can you 
  misspell something you've read a dozen times?  .

  Have you ever thought that some people, like me, have never read any of the books?  I have them all on tape read by Stephen Fry, so it is very hard for people like me to spell "Gryffindor", "Quidditch" or any of the unusual words in the books.  Please be patient with us and keep your virtual red felt pens in your pockets. :-)
