:-)  I'd like to think that it was fate.  My boyfriend took Lily home 
long before I had ever even heard of HP (can you believe there was 
ever such a time?).  The name Lily popped up in my head when we were 
discussing getting a cat and I decided that would be her name no 
matter what.

If we get a new pet I will purposefully name our pet after an HP 
character - no matter what my boyfriend says.
