This is still a favourite of mine. My mum looks after little kids and 
I always enjoy reading it. Worryingly the copy we have at home is 
older than I am - it is nearly (but not quite) a first edition. 
Recently they released it in 25th anniversary limited edition. Might 
have to get myself one.


I also did not really know many of the books on the list, so guess 
they are mainly American.
