I'd reccommend starting with "Good Omens" which he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman
as it helps to acclimate you to his style plus it's a pretty kick ass book
:o) (It's also the book that introed me to pratchett.)
I would skip the Color of Magic which is the first Discworld book because
Prachett's style isn't that finely tuned in that one... I liked Equal Rites
best of all the ones he's written but I like Granny in that and how he
handles feminist type issues.... but Discworld doesn't really require
starting in any particular place :o)
