Well, I did think it was funny, but that's because I know Dr. Laura.

Simon, you are perfectly right to respond in any way you please! 
Since you didn't know her, and you wanted to look up the 
references... well, Dr. Laura is rather, er, hard to swallow, for 
most of us, even the Christians - but I think we ought to refute her 
with correct passages. There are so many that we could quote at her, 
if you know what I mean.
