Hi Amanda,
Well, we have an id on the ring :)
According to an arts expert who saw the picture of the ring, the lion in it is the symbol of Jerusalem. These rings were worn by men on their pinkies, to symbolize their loyalty to Jerusalem.
She says that 50-60 years ago, these men's rings were very common, but now they're considered antique.
Well, if you ever find a picture of the pendant, mail it over, and i'll show it to her.
