Christian heaven? Drift around on clouds? If there really was a
heaven, I would think that the souls who lived there would each be in
their own *personal* heaven, doing whatever they loved. Perhaps
they'd be guardian angels, or just be reunited with their loved ones
(but again, what are they gonna do for ETERNITY!).

Hmmm... I know this started out as the 1000-year question. My answer
is "no way". Give me my threescore and ten, and then some besides...
but I do not want to live forever on this earth as it is now.

One of the best treatises I've EVER read on the Christian view of the
afterlife is Joni Eareckson Tada's *Heaven*. I bought it the summer
my father died... and it helped me immensely. Highly recommended.
