Glasses in US growing...

There's a nice article on the middle-section of the Beacon Journal (Akron)
that talks about the rise in acceptance of kids and glasses.  They credit
this to Harry Potter, Chuckie (Rugrats), and Arthur (PBS), as well as other
prominent glasses'ed folks on TV in kids-television.

I'm going to type up the article and post it here, since, unlike the Rep
(other local paper), you can't just link to the articles--it's particular!

I found it nice. Of course, I have glases, and was one of the teased kids in
school! (4-eyes....etc)
