You answered Amy's pronunciation question, but no one answered mine! 
Which was British pronunciation of the surnames Mandeville and 
Maskelyne. Here we pronounce Mandeville as it is written, but I 
became suspicious when I read that Featherstonehaugh is pronounced 
Fanshaw.
