Any American who isn't from Alaska or Hawaii is from a "tri-state
area"; it's used mainly in TV news...Kent Brockman in "The Simpsons"
refers to a tri-state area in almost every appearance he's made on
the show, despite the fact that the state where the Simpsons live is
never revealed.

Who finds it interesting that the Simpson Halloween episode, in fine
Fox style, will air the Tuesday after Halloween.
