There's a small war in my house over this. I want to read the books 
to my daughter and then have her fall in love with Megan Fellows 
(sp?) in the PBS series. She's 6 next month, so it's a little soon to 
start. I really don't want her seeing the animated version, but she's 
caught a glimpse of a trailer and somehow sensed my displeasure, so 
of course it's all she talks about. It's similar to the Pocahantas 
and Anastasia situation - those are the first videos she asks about 
when she visits a new friend's house.
