[HPFGU-OTChatter] Potter derivative of LOTR? No!

I have absolutely no expertise in LOTR but wizards, goblins, elves and every
other creature/person of the sort have been around since ancient times.
They were created in Fairy Tales long forgotten to our written history and
passed on down through the ages in various shapes and forms.  They came from
the stories whispered around  camp fires when human beings dreamed of a
different life and had nothing better to do then listen to the old man spin
stories about places we would never see and things we would never meet.
