I thought Fallon was a female name personally. I like Blair (did you get that from The Sentinel?) and Devon, hmm I sense another Buffy fan, but I could be wrong.

Normal spelling is good, but sometimes difficult to define. Take my name (Kathryn) spellt like it sounds but not as common as some of the other spellings. I don't expect anyone other than close friends or family to spell it right. It get's annoying having to spell it to everyone.

Cor and Corin are cool names.

Male - Lane (Layne), Fabian, Blair, Fallon, Cedric, Carrick, Aidan,
Kieran, Joaquin, Aki, Dominic, Corin, Devon, Cole (recognize some HP
  names there? ;))

I've also always been an advocate of NORMAL spelling. It's so
complicated to have fifteen different spellings for the same name--why
be difficult? Just for my name, there's about 50....Megan, Meagan,
Meghan, Meaghan...grah, just spell it normal! ;)

-Megan (spelled just like it sounds!)

Postnote: I've said recently, if I ever have twins boys, they are
going to be name Cor and Corin, *g* recognize that from _Horse and His
Boy_ from Chronicles of Narnia?--my favorite one!)
