Yes very nice names, and they'd make great Gryffindors, however I need some Slytherins too and the pure-blood wizards seem to tend towards the exotic.
I admit to collecting names when I was younger and am currently wishing I still did since I could save myself the effore of looking for names online.
My name always gets spelt wrong too. If I tell someone my name they say with a K or a C and I just know that unless I spell it out I'm going to be Katherine or Katharine.
There was a feature in one of the newspapers the other day on a guy who's father had named him after the 1966 world cup winning english team (at least I hope it was the team and not the whole squad).
Some parents seem to be totally oblivious to the problems they are causing their child, often someone's name is the first impression you get and people have a tendency to make judgements, consciously or not.
Leaf, rain etc Hippies
Tammi, Bobbi, Brandi - bimbo, (ot possibly hooker)
etc (resisting adding others because at some point I'm going to hit someone on the list or their kids or something)
K
(first impression, too lazy to type the whole thing *g*)

I hope I haven't sounded too stroppy or anything. The kids have been off
school for a week, and there's another week to go. *sigh* As much as I love
my kids, it's obvious I could *never* home-school! Roll on next Tuesday...
Mary Ann
(mom to Elizabeth, Gareth, and David, *nice* names to use in a fanfic!)
