Names

This may actually be nearly on topic (gasp!), but I wasn't sure, so I 
decided not to risk it and post it here.

Since we're on the topic of names, and we all know JKR loves to have 
fun with names, I was wondering what everyone's favorite HP name is 
and why.

My favorite is probably Remus Lupin.  His lycanthrophy seems so 
obvious now, but when I first found out I think I smacked myself on 
the forehead and said out loud, "Why didn't I see that?"  Romulus and 
Remus...lupine.  That's why I love it...the meaning was right there 
in front of me, but I couldn't see it.

As I posted just the other day, Hedwig means 'hidden weapon' (at 
least in one name dictionary, I looked it up in other and it 
said 'strife or struggle').  If Hedwig does turn out to be/have some 
sort of secret weapon, she may overtake dear Remus as my favorite 
name.  I'm going to keep my on her.
