There was a member of the extended Hogg clan named Ura, probably 
after the UL got started and inspired by same, and yes, you're right, 
she wasn't Ima's sister.  (There are several buildings in Houston 
named after Ima Hogg.)

In other famous Houston names, we have William Marsh Rice, which is 
not so funny in and of itself, but when it rains in Houston (as it so 
often does, especially in the summer) and Rice University floods (as 
it does almost every time it rains, it being very flat on poorly 
draining clay soil), it gets referred to by the students and alums as 
Willy's Rice Marsh.  (We also have a long tradition of ecchi 
references to Willies of various sorts . . .)
