Why would the cat's be yellow? Is yellow an especially feline color?
Maybe it's the color of the cat's eyes... as a black cat, it has a
good chance of having great big beautiful golden eyes like my little
Taliesin the black cat. Other cats have a good chance of having
yellowish-green eyes...
There are many shades of brown, beautiful fertile earthy soil and
sweet dark chocolate, I hope JKR meant that a very ugly shade of
brown represented Goyle.
Does the color of a person's potion represent their self, the color
they love (why would the cat love yellow), or a color prominent in
their appearance (perhaps Crabbe;s skin and Goyle's hair?)
The color I love is bright turquoise blue, bright robin's egg blue.
The only color I love better is a mixture of blues, with a little
bit of purples and greens and silvers, that averages out to
bright turquoise blue. That is nothing like my appearance (except my
clothes) and I don't hve faith that it indicates my personality or my
soul.
