I've been wondering whether the delay has anything to do with the
fact that a new contract has not yet been agreed with Scholastic.
Isn't it possible that the book is completed, and presumably ready
for the UK market - but, no publishing deal has yet been finalised
for the larger and more lucrative US market. I know that the books
could be released in the UK before the States, but I imagine there
might be big objections! Amazon might be pleased though!
If that is the problem (well infact, whatever the problem) hurry up
JKR, we can't wait much longer!

who is very annoyed as she phoned up Christ Church College yesterday
ready to try and see some of the filming, and was told that they had
finished filming in Oxford, which now seems to have been a lie! Aagh!
