My mother used to tell me (and I actually remember this, too) that
when I was toddler/preschool age I would say things like "when I was a
*boy*..." and use various facts (anatomical?  I don't know--she would
never give me specifics) that were so specific and precious or
advanced that there is NO WAY I would have known those things at my age...

Kids.  Figures.
