Show me someone who claims they've never done something similar in 
their lives and I'll show you (a) Mother Teresa, or (b) a blatant 
liar.

You've apologized...apology accepted.  So let's forgive and forget 
and get back to the usual friendship.  As you've revealed yourself 
and given an apology I see no reason for you to leave.  As I said 
earlier, life's too short for multiple hang-ups.
