How odd!
In my last post I mentioned a Canadian who used that turn of
phrase. At the time I knew him, I was living in Chicago - but
"coming with" was *not* standard there, at least at the time. (I
was about 9, and it was about 21 years ago, so things may have
changed since then!)
I'll have to ask my dad, also a Chicagoan, if that phrase is
commonly used in his neck of the suburbs.
