*LOL* Isn't it reassuring to know that women have the
same problems all over the world? I strongly believe
that the numbers used to designate sizes are chosen by
numerologists who work for clothing designers. ("Eight
shall bring a plague of locusts o'er us all! Better make
the new line size ten!")

A couple years ago, The Gap made a believer out of me
with "Boy Fit" jeans. They promptly discontinued that
cut, of course, but I still buy my pants there because
they fit wonderfully. (Why a yuppie joint like The Gap
stocks jeans that fit a chunky, stumpy-legged chick like
me, I don't know, but they do.)

Anyway, I made an interesting discovery there one day:
their sizes vary depending on COLOR. Took two pairs of
jeans into the dressing room. One was a Boot Cut, size
14, blue denim. The other was a Boot Cut, size 14, khaki.
The khaki fit fine. Couldn't squeeze the denim around my
thighs. The same thing happened recently when I went to
get a couple more pairs. I'm used to that from different
brands, but the SAME one??
