Just wanted to second this recommendation - I saw Amelie Friday 
evening, and left the theater feeling cheerful, benevolently fond of 
those around me and wanting (if not actually acting upon the desire) 
to hug strangers.  My only disappointment was that I wanted more 
about the writer.  Seriously though, if you haven't had the pleasure, 
check this one out, it's definitely a 'feel-good' film!
