*Groan* Why am I so given to obsession??

Now look what has happened: I have become a LotR fiend! 

I have seen the film twice, and I cannot put down the books. I have 
joined a Yahoo group to learn how to speak the high elven tongue, 
developed a liking for green jewels and long gowns, and now .... 
Argh! Now I have a torch to carry for Aragorn as well as Sirius 
Black!! I even have a mini-torch to carry for Boromir (more available 
than Aragorn, even though he is dead.)I could even take a fancy to 
Faramir....

I ask you what is a girl to do? I do not have pointy ears.

You see I have this glowing fantasy life against which the work-a-day 
muggle world appears increasingly faint and grey. Argh! What are my 
chances of finding a real mortal man who can compete with the 
romantic images you-know-you that are stampeding through my head?

How do others here live with their loopiness? I have got to make a 
plan!
