JENNIFER (f.) - Celtic 'white/fair + soft/smooth'; losse "white";
pasta "smooth", thus Lossepaste; or Celtic 'white + wave', so
Lossefalme (falma "wave")
Jeralyn, on the other hand, I think would require combining
either "Jerome" or Geraldine" with "Linda":
JEROME (m.) - Greek 'holy name'; aina, aira "holy"; esse "name", thus
Ainesso or Airesso
GERALD (f.) - Old Ger. 'spear+ ruler'; ecco, ehte "spear"; -
tur "ruler", thus Eccotur or Ehtetur or contracted Ehtur
GERALDINE (f.) - feminine of GERALD (q.v.), thus Eccoture or Ehteture
or Ehture
ALINDA (f.) - Old Ger. 'noble + soft'; ar- "noble"; for "soft" we
have musse from the very late course, however, the early source Qenya
Lexicon lists a word linda (cf. Old Ger. lind "soft,
tender"!) "gentle, kind, soft", thus Allinde or Allinda (rl
assimilates to ll) or even Alinda would be possible!
Maybe: Airelind or Airelyn or Ehturlinde?
Adana... Hmmmm... Dana was not listed in the source I have. If we
cannot find a meaning for your name, maybe we should just make one
up? Daniele is sort of close: Erunáme Throw in an "-iel" and it
becomes "crowned maiden": Erunámiel.
