Yes! We finally have snow here too. The kids are clomping about
the house in their new snow boots, itching to go out again. They
were already having a snowball fight on the lawn at church after
coffee hour today. Later, we're going to take them (and us) to see
Jimmy Neutron, which seems to have gotten very good notices.
Unfortunately, the weather's getting rather warm here now, so there
may not be snow on the ground tommorrow for further play (tomorrow's
a holiday for them.) We're probably going over to their school in
the morning for MLK day (cleaning classrooms) but then we'll have
the afternoon free, so hopefully all the snow won't disappear.

My sister is back in Philly after living elsewhere for over twenty
years (a bout in the air force which included Germany, Monterey,
Texas, and most recently, Wash. state). During her drive here from
Seattle, she and her friend were just slightly ahead of the snow the
whole way. On the one hand, she's here because she felt the need
for a six-month trial separation from husband no. 2; on the other
hand, our mom has also been rather depressed since dad died, and I
think it'll be good for my sister to be around. So I'm convinced
there's good in everything, if you look hard enough for it, and if
she's meant to go back to Washington, she's meant to, and if she's
meant to file for divorce, then that will be what is for the best....
