I just wanted to clairify that the summary on FA is certainly too brief to be
a full explanation of what happened, and Flourish (who has completely
authorship of it, and manages the Primer) just put it in there because last
summer, people were asking. Since it's been so long, and there are so many
newbies, she's been working on new articles for the primer, and an
explanation of this situation will be part of it.

I was a history major back in college, and I think that the best way to learn
about something historical is to go to the source - that's why for this, I
recommend focusing on the comments made contemporaneous to the event. Start
with message 1061 at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cassie_and_rhysenn/messages/ and read through
for a few days. Also, for a contemporaneous account from someone who was then
on the ffn team, read Colin Jackson's post at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HP_FanFiction/message/3251or start from message
6361 at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ParadigmOfUncertainty/ (but if you do
read PoU, make sure you look at messages 5373 and 5447 (from Peg Kerr).
I know it's a lot to read through, but I really do think that it's the only
way to get a clear understanding of what happened then.
