Karen, the book Personality Type: An Owner's Manual uses many 
references from pop culture, so you might be interested in that. 
Another one mentioned is (or was - CURSE YOU CHRIS CARTER!;) the 
Mulder/Scully dynamic. The author commented that instead of trying 
for the classic Thinker/Feeler pairing, Carter paired two Thinkers 
together.
