Well, in And Then There Were None, nobody did it, apparently.  In 
Roger Ackroyd, the narrator did it.  In Orient Express, everybody did 
it.

In the ABC Murders, anybody did it.

I take it that And Then There Were None is the one I know as Ten 
Little Niggers.  In an interesting early display of political 
correctness, I believe it was originally published in the US under 
the title Ten Little Injuns.  We move on, or not, as the case may be.
