I love you guys--just when I think I'm the only HP freak in town I
come online and find out that you're all like me! :)

I dressed up as Cho Chang for Halloween this year--robe with
ravenclaw patch, sweater with silver/blue stripes on collar,
blue/silver tie, grey skirt, knee socks & mary janes. I have been
planning this outfit for weeks--trying to make it as authentic as
possible. Alas...while I'm on my way to catch an SF train to a
halloween party, these guys start yelling out, "Hey school girl! I'm
the Dean! I'm the Dean!" Of course, I shut my robe and try to get
out of their line of sight as fast as possible. On the train, I
realize the inevitable--everyone will think I'm going as just a
regular school girl!!!

And that's what mostly everyone thought. I had a wand in my pocket
but I felt a bit silly holding it just to make my costume a little
more obvious. It turns out that a lot of people in my age group (I'm
21) don't really know what a hogwarts student looks like. People at
the party were like, "oh you're a Catholic student." And then of
course, I have to go into the whole thing about how I'm dressed like
someone from the Harry Potter movies and then I talk about the
different houses like Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and they look at me as
if I'm a freak (well they're right). :)

ABOUT THE OPRAH SHOW...I must admit something (since you guys are all
being so honest!)

Now, I've always had a little crush on Harry's character in the books
(hence why I dressed as his love interest for Halloween), but never
cared much for the actual actor. However, since Daniel Radcliffe's
voice deepened (in the 2nd trailer), and his new posters came out
(you know, the one with the whole dirty face/sword), I've had a teensy
crush on him. Nothing totally incriminating, just the innocent kind
you get when you're 13 and you see the newest teen idol in those
magazines. I've told my friends, and some actually agree that he's
"handsome," although others think it's a bit well...ODD that I find a
"little boy" attractive. At any rate, I tell my friends that if
Harry Potter was a real person, he'd be my age now because we were
both born in the same year--1980! :)

As for the Oprah show...I didn't get to see it. :( BUT, I did see
the "After Show" online and boy did I feel like a real school girl
seeing him! Outside the film and without his glasses, Daniel seems
quite charming! He made me wish he was either older or I was
younger. Anyhow, glad I could "confess" this to all of you! :)
