Ladies,
It is so reassuring to hear that I am not the only "grown woman" with
an HP obsession! Its pretty sad when I get excited at the thought of
going to a toy store these days!
My daughter came home from school yesterday with an invitation to
a "Harry Potter" birthday party; not just the paper plates and hats
and plastic wands, but they are actually going to see the CoS on
Friday nite, the opening nite. How jealous am I?! (I'm working!) But
it at least gave me a *legitimate* excuse to go shopping for HP
stuff! I think I was more excited than she was! We went to Toys R
Us first and were very disappointed in the selection. They had a lot
of SS merchandise: Quirrell figure as Voldemort; the Troll Legos,
Harry and Hagrid at Gringotts, etc. So we drove down the road to
Walmart and we hit the jackpot! I saw turquiose blue Ford Anglias;
Dueling club Legos (that's what we bought my daughters' friend), and
the cutest little "Messenger Owls", (I let my daughter buy a pink
one) that you can hang from a backpack (or key chain). I had to
restrain myself from buying Quidditch!Harry and Quidditch!George
(they didn't have Fred or Draco for that matter!) AAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!
No, Richelle, I don't think it's possible to OD on HP paraphanalia!
I think we should enjoy every minute of it!! Who knows how long it
will be before we all get this excited about *NEW* HP merchandise?
(hint, hint, . . . BOOK 5?)

Melody, I will only mention that I have the schedule of the HP crew's
American tv appearances next week taped up on my refrigerator (next
to the emergency phone numbers, and my son's first paper in
kindergarten this year!) To paraphrase Ron Weasly in the first HP
film, I think I have my priorites straight!!!
Anna . . .(who forgot to tell you that my 5 year old got Quidditch!
FlyingHarry today, I it's really fun!!)
Oh my, time to go color my hair . . .
