I enjoyed it. [grin] The movie list is being a bit hyper-critical, I 
think. Most of the kids in the cinema were quiet and attentive 
throughout; also a good sign.

There *are* changes from the book, but you *can't* make a movie 
which is absolutely faithful to a book - they're just not the same 
medium at all. 

The changes kept pretty well to the spirit of the books, IMPO. [If I 
say anymore, I'll have to include spoiler space, so I won't].
