Oh, I am so glad you said something!  I was just tossing the idea 
around, although my son already has the store bought costume from 
last year, I'd like to get him something a little better.  I sew 
(simple things), so I may just make him one of his own.  I think I 
will pass on the robe from the wandmaker.

I found a college grad robe (FINALLY!) at a thrift store, of all 
places, and I have a white shirt and a Gryffindor tie. My best 
friend has a v-neck grey sweater for me, too.  I was thinking of 
finding a grey skirt, like the one Hermione wears, but I have yet to 
see one, even at the thrift store.  But I will keep looking.  How 
did you hand embroider the sweater?

Oh, Man!  I wish there was someone around here that wanted to do 
that.  I am the only grown up I know that wants to dress up.  My 
best friend (she enjoys HP but not to the extent that I do) said she 
would crawl under the seat if I dressed up!  *LOL*  So much for 
friendship ;).
